3 holidays in 1! The Queen Mary 2 was our first experience of sailing (never having cruised) and I think we may have been spoiled. It was absolutely amazing and it was difficult to decide what not to do - no chance of boredom. Jane, our tour manager, was very helpful from day one, and really came into her own when we landed in New York. The drivers and tour guides were very knowledgeable and helped us to get a good idea of where everything was. The trip to Niagara Falls was lovely, although I feel 1 day would have been enough - maybe the company could consider staying in Niagara on the Falls, which was truly beautiful and travel in to Niagara Falls instead? Toronto and the CN Tower was another amazing experience. I would highly recommend this trip.

We really enjoyed our cruise across the Atlantic on QM2 to New York. There was so much varied entertainment to choose from ballroom dancing lessons to listening to lectures by Sir Max Hastings on fascinating historical events, amazing musical shows and plays in the theatre. The food was excellent and the crew could not do enough for us. New York was amazing and our three days there was packed with things to do with some excellent local knowledge and ideas being imparted to us during the initial three hour coach tour around the city on arrival. The Hotel Crowne Plaza on Times Square Broadway was certainly in the beating heart of the city and our room there, on the 41st floor was very nice!
Niagra Falls was amazing. After an initial mess up with the hotel room (we were initially given a room that was already occupied) we were delighted with the room we were given, overlooking the Falls.
Jane, our Riviera guide throughout the whole tour was excellent, very competent, friendly and great company. She sorted any problems out very quickly.
We could have done with more time at the charming town of Niagara-on-the –Lake on the last day. The subsequent visit to the CN Tower in Toronto was great and after this, the folks returning on the Heathrow flight went straight off to the airport. For those of us returning on the Manchester Flight, there were still over two and a half hours before needing to go to the airport and we were dropped off at the "distillery quarter" which is a collection of small independent shops and art galleries. Half of these were closed and time passed rather slowly. Our return Manchester flight was with a budget airline and was not that comfortable; we think the Heathrow flight would have been much nicer as that was with Air Canada.
Overall, we were very satisfied and had a fantastic time although we suggest Riviera re-thinks the final day for future tours.

What a fabulous trip! My wife and I have never been on an ocean crossing before and the Queen Mary 2 did not disappoint. She is an exceedingly stable ship and beautifully appointed. The crossing as smooth (up to force 3 at one point). There was lots to do including listening to some excellent speakers (including Sir Max Hastings), learning to dance or just spend the time wandering around the ship exercising or swimming or playing games.
Then there was the food - of Michelin standard with service to match. Our guide Jane was excellent having had previous experience on ships and having worked with Riviera before. She was always attentive and there to sort out a problem if one arose. One of the best tour reps we have had. We had gone with my wife's sister and husband and despite requesting adjacent rooms we were on the same deck but at different ends of the ship (this is quite a way on the QM2). Cunard blamed Riviera but I suspect as it was Cunard as we were seated at the same table for dinner. As the rooms were all allocated this could not be resolved. However Jane made sure that we were closer when we were staying in New York and Niagara falls.
The tour in New York was delightful. The position of the Crowne Plaza in NY was superb - we were in the heart of theatre land. There were plenty of places to eat. Having free time to do your own thing was an excellent idea and we saw plenty. The transfer to Buffalo all went to plan and the view from the Sheraton Hotel over the falls was stunning. Again plenty of places to eat at different budgets. The day organised on the river and behind the falls was excellent (this included a free shuttle bus which was appreciated). The town of Niagara-on-the-lake was delightful. There are at least two theatres and we wondered if Riviera should include a night’s stop here with the chance to go to the theatre. Lastly we went up the CN tower and had lunch and then fly home. Everything went to plan and on time. Well done Riviera.

The trip was very well organised, accommodation was excellent and QM2 was superb. We appreciated being given tickets for the trips in Niagara which gave us the opportunity to visit the sights at our own speed.
Our tour manager, Jane, was excellent, the best guide we have ever had, she was always available, extremely friendly, and a really nice person. She made everyone feel special. Due to her excellent service we will book a future holiday with Riviera.
