Standard Cabin

Upper and Middle Deck

At 15 square metres (161 square feet) cabins are spacious and amongst the largest on European rivers. Beautifully furnished using a wealth of mahogany, leather, marble and Italian fabrics and well-appointed with hotel-style twin beds with individual bedding which can be moved together or separated accordingly, two chairs and a table, wardrobe, desk, safe, telephone, hairdryer, tea and coffee-making facilities, individually controlled air-conditioning and flat screen TV with satellite channels which also receive images from a bow-mounted camera so you can see exactly where you are cruising from the comfort of your own bed! The sparkling marble bathroom with fully glazed shower is both elegant and spacious. Cabins on the Middle and Upper Decks have full floor to ceiling sliding glass doors – which slide back against the ship’s side creating a French Balcony and a true panoramic extension, allowing you to enjoy the magnificent river views from the privacy and comfort of your cabin. Cosy bathrobes and slippers add the final elegant touch.

Lower Deck

Furnished and appointed to the same high standards as the cabins on higher decks, these cabins are slightly smaller at 14 square metres (151 square feet), have one armchair and table and smaller fixed windows, hotel-style beds twin beds with individual bedding which can be moved together or separated accordingly, wardrobe, desk, safe, telephone, hairdryer, tea and coffee-making facilities, individually controlled air-conditioning and flat screen TV plus beautifully appointed bathroom with complimentary bathrobes and slippers. Cabins for sole occupancy are available on this deck at no supplement (subject to availability).

Deluxe Suite

Why not treat yourself and upgrade to one of the four Deluxe Balcony Suites available on the Upper Deck. At 22.8 square metres (245 square feet), where most of the extra space is devoted to the living area, these cabins feel exceptionally airy and with full floor to ceiling glass doors which open on to a small balcony with table and chairs, you can really take your cruise to another level. With hotel-style beds twin beds with individual bedding which can be moved together or separated accordingly, luxury bathroom with fully glazed shower, sofa and chair, table, desk, wardrobe, safe, telephone, hairdryer, tea and coffee-making facilities, individually-controlled air-conditioning and flat screen TV, bathrobes and slippers, relax in the most sumptuous surroundings – you will feel thoroughly spoilt!

Located towards the front of the ship on the Upper Deck you will find the classically appointed lounge and bar with a wide selection of comfortable and elegant seating. This is the perfect place to relax in the company of newly-made friends, so sink into a comfortable sofa and soak up your sumptuous surroundings. Enjoy the delights of the passing scenery through the superb observation windows, ensuring the most extensive and uninterrupted viewing of any river cruise ship. The welcoming bar, with its genteel ambience, offers a full range of drinks sourced from all over the world, including the finest wines and spirits, so as evening falls, unwind over your favourite tipple to the soothing tones of the resident pianist or dip into a book from the ship’s library corner, with its warm wood panelling and comfy chairs.


To the rear of the ship is the stern bar, with large panoramic windows and outside seating, the perfect spot to while away the hours whilst the ever-changing river scenery drifts effortlessly by. Here in the evenings, the chef presents his personal signature dishes to just 24 diners – this intimate dining experience can be reserved on board at no extra charge.



Enjoy superb dining in the elegant restaurant, located on the middle deck. Here, against a breathtaking scenic backdrop through the magnificent tinted panoramic windows, the chefs will amaze you with fine dining of the highest order, using freshly prepared seasonal produce to create the very best of European cuisine. The sumptuous breakfast buffet, with omelettes and fresh eggs prepared to order, ensures a great start to the day and a lunchtime buffet allows you to opt for a hearty lunch or something lighter such as a fresh, simple salad – just as you desire. A four-course dinner is excellently executed with silver service, enhanced by fine table linen, china and sparkling glassware whilst our ‘open seating’ policy ensures a relaxed dining experience which you will always look forward to.


Crowning the ship is the magnificent Sun Deck where you can absorb the magical sights, sounds and unique river atmosphere. With plenty of sun beds and café-style seating, attentive bar service will provide you with a refreshing drink whilst you lie back with a good book or solve the crossword from a deck chair. Cool off in the whirlpool or try your hand on the putting green or deck chess board. Whatever you choose, be sure to make time to simply watch the stunning kaleidoscope of river scenery gently slipping past. You are very welcome to visit the Bridge whenever you wish except when berthing or navigating locks. View state of the art navigation and control equipment and discuss life on the river, whilst the highly skilled Captain and crew guide all 110m of the Charles Dickens carefully along the river.


A small but well equipped fitness suite is available for the energetic on the lower deck with two cycling machines, a rowing machine and treadmill. Or if you might just prefer to unwind in the sauna or book a relaxing massage treatment - appointments can be made at reception.
