No matter how well travelled you are, it’s comforting to know you’re in safe hands. Your health and safety is our top priority. What’s more, we work closely with local partners for up-to-date local information.


Before and after travel

  • Experienced and knowledgeable Tour Managers and Cruise Directors. All undertaking a Covid-19 training course and fully up-to-date on the latest guidelines and procedures.
  • For your peace of mind, every guest travelling with us must be *fully vaccinated before departure. See definitions below

  • Our best in class health & safety practices meet the very highest standards, and are underwritten by Ian Greaves (MCIEH), a leading independent expert.
  • Every attraction and supplier is checked for basic Covid-19 requirements, such as hand sanitiser use, social distancing, PPE guidelines and any restrictions that may change your holiday, so we can ensure your holiday is the best it can be.
  • We’ll always send you the latest guidelines on each country before travel, as well as constantly monitoring ourselves.
  • We’ll also ensure the same precautions have been taken by the people that you are likely to have most interaction with on your holiday, which will include the crew on our cruises and our tour managers.
  • We have revised our itineraries to be Covid-19 safe.  We've made adjustments and implemented enhanced health and hygiene protocols, whilst maintaining the same high standards we are known for.
  • 24/7 access to the UK team. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year, no matter when or where you choose to travel, you’ll always have direct access to our UK team.
  • We adapt our policies in line with the latest government guidelines, so you can be confident we’ll always put your wellbeing first. These measures, alongside our comprehensive health and safety procedures, ensure you can look forward to your Riviera holiday with happiness, guaranteed.


  • There will be 50% capacity on our full size coaches as standard.
  • Hand sanitiser is available on all tours and staff will all wear PPE according to local regulations. Face masks may also be required at certain points and attractions as per the country’s guidelines.
  • Every hotel matched against our exacting standards – we have personally visited and double checked the cleanliness, comfort and facilities at all of our hand-picked hotels. All UK hotels have adhered to the Good-to-Go scheme.
  • There will be enhanced cleaning methods throughout your tour, with coaches deep cleaned, suitcase handles disinfected and your own headset (where available) for the whole tour.

River Cruise / Cruises

  • All crew members are required to have been tested and hold a medical certificate. In addition, there will be daily temperature checks and ongoing health screenings for all crew members. Face coverings will be worn where necessary and social distancing observed throughout all crew-only areas of the ship.
  • A gleaming fleet of river cruise ships – our dedicated team will ensure each vessel is scrupulously clean and additional on-board procedures have been introduced for your safety. Touch points and shared equipment disinfected regularly.
  • Social distancing on coaches for all excursions and embarkation with temperature checks upon re-boarding.
  • Contact free services and full waiter service throughout the ship and in cabin will create a safer meal experience, with seating allowing for social distancing.
  • Hand sanitisers available throughout the ship (including in your cabin.)

*Definition of fully vaccinated:

Fully vaccinated with an NHS administered vaccine in the UK (or are on a formally approved UK vaccine clinical trial)

Full vaccination means 14 days have passed since your final dose of the vaccine

A full course of the vaccine is 2 doses of the Moderna, AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccine, or 1 dose of the Janssen single-dose vaccine
