Dear Mazj,

I've just checked on our website and the solo dates can be found there as well (just click on the "view dates and prices" button on the link below). Otherwise you can call our reservations team between 09:00 and 19:00 and they will be happy to provide all the information you require.

Hope that helps,

Erik.

Thanks Erik for the info. I think I will probably book for the 1st Feb departure next year. I did phone the office today to clarify a couple of points regarding different hotels for the 2020 season in the general brochure, to see if they applied to the solo holidays, and apparently they do. Also there are only 8 evening meals included not 11 as specified on the website, so a bit misleading.

Dear Mazj,

Thank you for noticing that error. As mentioned the tours went live yesterday and this change in information wasn't displayed correctly on the website, so I do apologise. I've passed it on to our web team who will correct the webpage as soon as possible.

Erik.

Just booked first solo hol with Riviera. Has anyone out there booked this hol? Even though a few months off, be good to say hello to fellow travellers. Am travelling from Caerphilly/Cardiff area.... anyone from this area?

Cheers

Morning all

Lost my wife four years ago and have finally taken the plunge back into the world of solo travelling, something that I haven’t done for over 40 years! Going to Bruges on Sunday, the first of what will hopefully be many adventures! I am currently in a state of nervous excitement, but I’m so looking forward to start travelling again.

John

Good luck John, Bruges is lovely. I have been several times. I too am going on my first solo holiday in October and also feeling nervous but like you I am also looking forward to it.

I am also a newbie and my trip in September - Lake Garda - will be my first solo trip. I am really hoping there are other people on this trip too, it would be especially nice if they were also on this forum. I am a little apprehensive, as I am sure I am not alone with this feeling! I am flying from Gatwick. I would love to make contact with others who are doing this trip on 4th September 2019.

Hi Clockwork Dolly, rest assured that this departure is full booked and you will be with 32 travellers, 21 of whom will be with you on the Gatwick flight.

We are here if you have any questions of course!

Ah thank you Riviera for clarification about the trip. It is always reassuring to know that others will be joining me. Imagine being an only person on a solo trip?! I’m not sure how that would work. I look forward to meeting my fellow travellers at Gatwick.

Hi, just to reassure you that we wouldn’t run a holiday with just one person. We would only run trips with at least double figures, otherwise it would make for a less than ideal situation.

Have a great holiday!
