It’s no surprise that New Zealand has become known as a country where you can go from snow-capped peaks to a sun-drenched vineyards within a few hundred miles. On our immersive 22-day tour of New Zealand, we experience just this. Your journey begins in Auckland, known as the 'the City of Sails,' where your journey of Kiwi culture begins. From this northerly point, we travel from the beautiful Parry Kauri Park to the idyllic Bay of Islands for an unforgettable dolphin watching cruise. After a welcoming homestay and a taste of New Zealand hospitality in Cambridge, we travel through thermal Rotorua, lakeside Taupo and Art Deco influenced Napier before arriving at Wellington. Hopping on another cruise on the waters of Australasia, across the Cook Strait to South Island, before enjoying a wine tasting in arguably one of the best wine regions in the world – Marlborough. Just days later, the tour has made its way through Christchurch and onto one of the incredible highlights - experiencing the Southern Alps aboard the world-famous TranzAlpine train to Arthurs Pass before a helicopter flight over the Franz Josef glacier. With so much to discover and hidden gems around every corner, it’s no surprise that New Zealand, and in fact Australasia, is on many people’s travel bucket lists.
