Romantic Rhine, Black Forest & Alsace

We really enjoyed this trip; our first Riviera Tours experience. A wonderful and nicely balanced itinerary. We enjoyed the sights, the food, the tour group and tour manager Rosey who kept us well informed, our group coordinated and bridged the language and cultural gaps expertly. What a joy to visit this part of the world with its rich history, current charms and industry.

Romantic Rhine, Black Forest & Alsace

We travelled as group of four on this new holiday for 2017 which was a "no fly" one, we had a wonderful time and would certainly consider doing this type of holiday again, our guide Rosey was excellent in every way, a truly lovely lady with her help and experience and knowledge, and our female coach driver, named Oskia also was superb. We have used your services six times now, and we will be back again. Many thanks, Ann and Ken Frost

Romantic Rhine, Black Forest & Alsace

We have just returned from our 9th Riviera tour and found this one as good as we have come to expect. Our tour manager Rosey went out of her way to give us a well-informed and organised trip, alongside our excellent young lady driver and baggage handler, Oskia. We saw such a lot in a mere 8 days and visited so many glorious places in this picturesque area. Wonderful weather was a bonus. This is a new tour for Riviera and is being tweaked to make it even better for future travellers. Rosey's decision to take us to Titisee in the morning and wine tasting in the afternoon instead of the other way round was a masterstroke. Our only suggestion would be to shorten the visit to Worms in order to have more time in glorious Heidelberg. Apart from a little mayhem over breakfast in the Freiburg hotel we found the accommodation excellent. Roll on holiday No. 10

A word of thanks for our recent holiday, to Christine the tour manager, our Amazon lady driver and your helpful backroom staff .

Mostly the weather was kind and very pleasant where it mattered most in some wonderful river & mountain scenery.Congratulations on your choice of route & stop-overs. Nice to have city hotels and country/village ones. The Art Nouveau restaurant in Strasbourg was particularly nice. Two comments - we prefer a hotel with its own dining room where it’s so easy to mix and make friends; and more hotels in Europe should have tea-making facilities!

Christine did all we could ask for from a guide but never too much, which adds so much to the success of a holiday.

This was our 4th holiday with Riviera and we are already thinking of Sicily next year. Will you restore a single trip to Berlin, not linked to Dresden etc?

Thanks again
