Just returned from a fantastic visit to Peru and the Amazon. This was our 5th trip with Riviera so we started with high expectations and were not disappointed. A country of amazing contrasts with stand out moments including Machu Pichu (you can see a thousand pictures but the first sight still takes your breath away), an incredible flying display by the Condors, great fun on the floating islands in Lake Titicaca, stargazing in the Scared Valley, to say nothing of the spectacular views of the Milky Way as we headed down the Madre de Dios. A huge thanks to our tour manager Christine an incredible bundle of energy and enthusiasm who kept us on schedule and was always ready to help with any problems.

Peru with Amazon
Our trip to Peru was the most memorable holiday ever! It is such a fascinating country with lovely people, stunning countryside and great food. Our guide - Christine - was exceptional and her knowledge of the country made the whole holiday so enjoyable. She was also helped by local guides who brought the country to life. it was a holiday that I would do all over again as it was such fun.

Peru With Amazon
Just a note to say how much we enjoyed our recent trip to Peru. This was our third holiday with you and arguably the best. Many points tipped it, not least the Amazon cruise. Previous holidays have had very good Tour Managers but Mandy excelled by using her vast experience to go the extra mile with several small personal touches and looked after us exceptionally well from start to finish. She bonded very well with the group (We think the small number helped) and was always available. Another definite plus was her fluent Spanish.
We had no complaints about the accommodation other than the hotel in Iquitos being a bit tired and in need of a little TLC. It might have been better to go straight to the boat but we would have missed the Tuk Tuk ride and tour of the city organised by Mandy.
