Overview

Few destinations combine such jaw-dropping scenery, fascinating culture and the raw power of nature as western Greenland. From an Arctic capital with a small-town feel, to the remote wilderness of the Arctic Circle, to the breathtaking icy coastline of the northern region, our expedition cruise offers an adventure-filled experience.

Embark on thrilling Zodiac cruises along gleaming ice-filled fjords, explore photogenic towns with colourful wooden houses, and meet friendly Inuit locals happy to share their fascinating culture with visitors. You’ll have opportunities to sail across pristine waters surrounded by icebergs, marvel at gigantic calving glaciers, hike well-marked routes for incredible views, and enjoy close encounters with Greenland’s amazing wildlife, from whales and foxes to seals and kittiwakes.

At either end of your expedition cruise, you’ll spend a night in Copenhagen, the epitome of Scandinavian appeal and one of Denmark’s most exciting cities. Any voyage to this beautiful part of the world is surely one of life’s great experiences, and with a capacity of just 120 passengers aboard the MS Greg Mortimer, this cruise strikes the perfect balance between an extraordinary expedition experience and a comfortable first-class vessel.
