Positioned close to Yosemite National Park, the three-star Pines Resort is the only lakeside resort in the Yosemite area. The charming resort is surrounded by pine trees and sits right on the shores of Lake Bass, with its own marina.
The hotel has a spa, hot tub, tennis court and a driving range. There’s an outdoor pool and seating area with sun loungers and umbrellas, plus a poolside bar. Please note the pool may be closed early or late in the season.
The Pines Bar is often frequented by locals and claims to offer the largest craft beer selection on tap within the area. You’ll also find an on-site grocery store, bakery and two restaurants. Firstly, there’s Ducey’s On the Lake which offers breakfast and dinner – cooked using locally grown, organic produce and enjoyed in a sophisticated, steakhouse ambience. Then there’s Ducey’s Bar and Grill, serving lunch and dinner in a more laid-back atmosphere, with menu items such as burgers, flatbreads, tacos and salads.
Your accommodation is in the semi-detached, two-storey wooden chalets. Cosy and comfortably furnished, all of the chalets have a balcony with a patio and BBQ plus a living and dining area with kitchenette. There’s an iron and ironing board, TV, and complimentary Wi-Fi. The bedroom with bathroom is located on the lower floor. Although the chalets are generally similar in layout, each chalet may vary.
The hotel is located 17 miles from the southern gate of Yosemite National Park. There are hiking and biking trails in the area, and plenty of (chargeable) water activities on the lake such as canoeing, fishing and jet skiing.
