Hi I have just registered so not sure how all this works? I have never travelled on my own so I'm a little nervous ... I'm hoping to explore and see nice places and hopefully make new friends in doing so ... I hope I'm doing the right thing

My first time too, it is very scary, but in a way comforting to know I'm not the only one who feels nervous. I've booked Sri Lanka in November!..... I think you should just book it, go for it...you'll find lots of people on here here who feel the same :)

Hi, I'm also new to solo travel!
I'm thinking about booking the 2018 South Africa holiday.

Hi there, I nervously booked my short Normandy break in February, and its now time for me to go on Friday this week.
Never done this before, but after reading others reviews when I registered I decided to book. It was comforting
to here that I'm not the only one that's nervous, and found lots of questions in my head were what other people were asking. Still nervous, but
also looking forward to the adventure with other like minded friends. Hope to see some of you on Friday.

Hi I've never travelled alone before, but am looking to do something at Christmas this year. Does anyone have any tips on best places to go? I enjoy dancing, dining, beautiful scenery/beaches, and walking.

Hi! I have traveled quite a lot on my own mostly for my work. I enjoy beaches, Walking, dancing, beautiful scenery. architecture, taking photographs. I am open to any suggestions as to where to travel as long it's to somewhere sunny.

Hi everyone, well I've done my first ever mini holiday. Full of nerves and wondering whether I would be eating alone in my room, or not getting to know anyone at all. Just like lots of others thoughts and questions....... I met some really lovely people who all felt the same as me. We all had the same scary thoughts about going on a solo holiday. Now I'm so pleased I did it. We had a brilliant time on our Normandy tour, and we all said we would definitely go solo again. It was well organised and our tour guide Pascaline was an immense help with all the knowledge she has. I might be scared when I go again, but I know now I'll definitely be going somewhere, and looking forward to meeting more like minded people. I didn't feel alone once.......Hope this helps.....Sue
