Continuing with yesterday's announcement of new tours, I am happy to unveil two more new destinations to you today. This time we are appealing to those of you hankering for shorter breaks.
Our first is to Bologna and the surrounding Emilia Romagna region on a 4-day tour starting at £799. As well as being a cultural powerhouse, and home to the world's oldest university, Bologna is famous for being Italy's gastronomic capital. We've therefore added in a visit to a Parmesan cheese producer, balsamic vinegar maker, and crowning it all a farewell dinner at an award-winning organic winery. This is of course in addition to our standard offerings of return flights, welcome drinks and dinner, daily breakfasts, and a double room all to yourselves, at a well-located 4-star hotel.

Our second short break is to the other end of Italy, and Sicily's mesmerising capital of Palermo. Few places have been subject to as many disparate influences, all of which are on show to create a heady cultural mix. We will take you to see the two jewels of Arab-Norman art and architecture: Monreale Abbey and the Norman Palace, once the seat of the powerful Sicilian kings. And for those who wish we have an optional street food tour to experience some of the tasty treats that inspired Rick Stein on his Long Weekend visit.

We hope you enjoy our two tasty, short breaks. Or as they say in Italy: buon appetito!
