I have just had the most wonderful 5 days in Marrakech. Nothing was too much bother for Mohamed, our Tour Manager and he went out of his way to give us a great time. He told us of the history, geography, culture, food, dress - and all things in between. I have lots of memories and was very lucky to meet my fellow travellers - they were a great crowd.

Hello Marianne I am so glad you enjoyed your trip! I am new on here and thinking of booking the Marrakesh trip. I have looked at the revues of the hotel on Trip Advisor and they are very varied. I would love to hear of your experience of the hotel. Thanks.

Hi Susan - I have no bad comments to make on the hotel - I must look up Trip Advisor. It is a modern hotel with all facilities. We had a super big bedroom and nice bathroom. Breakfasts served everything - including fresh omlettes and deep fried doughnuts! I was on the third floor, but with lifts nearby, no problem. I overlooked the pool, and others overlooked the road (slightly noisier I understand). Dinners served quite a variety of dishes. What was there to dislike? There were concierges to get a taxi for you. The holiday (or adventure!) was such an experience - I loved it. I should go back and see different things or even the same things again!!

Just book it! Remember to tell me how you got on!

Hi Marianne thank you for your reply and sorry for the delay in getting back to you! I have booked the Marrakesh holiday for September and I am so looking forward to it! Did you do any extra excursions/ activities other than the ones included? thanks.

Hi Susan - sorry for the tardy reply. Glad to hear you have booked. I didn't do any extra excursions - ie. the cookery class or the hammam but others did and they had a ball. If you have free time, maybe you could go to Le Jardin Secret, found in the Souk. It hasn't been open very long and is being written about in the gardening mags. Or perhaps go back to Le Jardin Majorelle when you have more time. The holiday is almost a 'taster' for Morocco but a very good one - I am definitely going to see more of the country. Happy holiday! Marianne

Hi Cleo and Stuart,

First of all welcome to Riviera Travel. We appreciate that the first trip can be quite daunting, but would like to reassure you that we are here to help with any questions or queries you may have.

I hope you enjoy your tours with us (I visited briefly about 10 years ago and really enjoyed it - especially the old town of Marrakesh).

Erik.
