Hi, just wondering what the realistic age range is on the solo traveller holidays?? I think Riveiera say it is 50s - 60s, just wondering if there are younger people on the trips (I am only just 50 and still adjusting to that fact!!).

Hi Claire,

It varies from tour to tour as you can imagine. The majority of people who have booked so far have been in their 50s and 60s. But we have had bookings from people in their 30s through to their 80s. Age really is just a number when it comes to your holiday

Hi Claire, I had my 75th birthday in February but am very young at heart and brain. I would not worry so much about the numbers as I have been travelling solo for about 10 yrs and have met happy go lucky 90yr olds and quite serious 40yr olds. I am hoping to go on the Cambodia/ Vietnam tour next year as I believe the area is wonderful. I have wanted to visit Angkor Wat for many years and now I'm going. Whatever you choose I am sure you will enjoy the experience. Good Luck. Dwalli.

Hi, I'm looking at some of the trips for next year. I've never been on holiday on my own before and was wondering what the usual age range is of people who go on these holidays. I've been on a few Riviera holidays but always with someone else so thats why I thought I'd look here first. Was surprised they now do solo holidays.

Hi Helsy, welcome!

The majority of people on these trips are in their 50s & 60s. However the age range on any tour could be as wide as 30-90! We find that people soon forget ages on these trips and everyone bonds really well

I have been on several solos holidays, but not yet with Riviera Travel. The youngest was 25 and the eldest 91. Not both on the same tour I hasten to add! The majority are around 45-50 to 70-75, but it has never ever mattered.
