Hi sue :D

I went o Loughborough University back in the early 80s :geek:

I moved down to Newbury not long after that though. I have been back to Loughborough a few times since, it has changed so much :o

hello Sue. Yes I am also from the midlands, just outside Nuneaton. I used to live in Shepshed so I know Loughborough quite well as well!

I just saw the advertisement for the new Go Solo holidays in my Ramblers magazine at the weekend - are you a Rambler also?

I'm not a Rambler myself, but my sister in law pulled the advert out of the magazine to show me

good to see there is some other folk from around these parts. I notice a few holidays with flights from Birmingham airport which is good

Hi Sue.
I'm not from the Midlands, but from Yorkshire. I am totally new to this and have no idea
I will get on, but I've booked my first holiday challenge anyway. I'm going to Rouen & Honfleur and the Normandy highlights, in about 2 months, in June.
Anybody else interested in this Solo holiday.
Sue

Hi I am 75 years old and live in s York's. I have never been on holiday on my own before and I am scared stiff. Can anyone reassure me that I am doing the right thing. Am I better going on a short holiday first or should I jump in with both feet.

Hi Sandy, have a browse of the board, there are many people in a similar situation to you. The general consensus is just go for it!
