Our Flexible Booking Policy

 
 

We know that in uncertain times, you need to feel confident when making a booking. We want you to be sure that you won’t lose out if your plans need to change, and your money is safe and secure. That’s why we’ve introduced a series of new, enhanced policies to protect you, so you can book with confidence.

 

Rest assured, when you book your holiday with Riviera Travel, you can do so with complete confidence. 

  • Flexible booking* - With 2022 holidays on sale earlier than ever, along with flexible booking options, you can plan ahead and book with confidence.

    Book a holiday with us by 30 June 2021 and you can enjoy the flexibility to change your booking before travel, with no fees and no questions asked. You can change your booking up to 45 days before departure for 2021 holidays departing after 1 September. New bookings for 2022 can be changed for free up until 30 September 2021.

  • Your money is safe and secure no matter what – at all times, your money is 100% protected by ABTA and ATOL. You’ll find the proof here: https://www.abta.com/tips-and-advice/is-my-holiday-protected.

  • Covid-19 Cancellation Protection as standard  – if for whatever reason, you’re not able to travel as a consequence of the pandemic, you can transfer your holiday to a later date completely free of charge. Some terms and conditions apply and you can find them here.

  • Covid-19 Curtailment Protection as standard  – if you have to cut your holiday short as a direct consequence of the pandemic and your insurance provider doesn’t cover you, we’ll automatically compensate you for the proportion of your holiday that you’ve missed out on.
  • Best price promise -  if the price of your holiday is reduced after you book, we’ll automatically reduce the cost for you too. There’s no benefit for booking late, but by booking early, you can secure your preferred dates and options.
  • Happy in every sense or your money back – if you’re not happy or comfortable in your new surroundings by Day Two, we’ll bring you home at no extra charge and offer you a full refund.

Our new improved Insurance policy

With our new and improved insurance policy you can get back to exploring with confidence knowing you will be protected with our enhanced Covid-19 cover. At Riviera Travel your wellbeing and safety are of paramount importance so you can now travel knowing you'll be covered for:-

  • Cancellation if you contract Covid-19 within 14 days of travelling
  • Emergency medical expenses if you contract Covid-19 whilst you are away
  • Repatriation to bring you back when needed*
  • If you are denied boarding on your inbound flight due to showing symptoms of Covid-19
  • Up to 30 days FREE extended cover (if due to circumstances beyond your control or you are unable to return home)

*Amend your booking for free up to 45 days before departure' Terms & Conditions

Amend your booking for free up to 45 days before departure is valid on an entirely new booking only, made by 30 June 2021, departing after 1 September and can only be used once. New bookings for 2022 can be changed for free up until 30 September 2021. A booking cancelled 45 days or more before departure must be re-booked within 7 days, otherwise normal cancellation charges will apply. Transfers from a 2020 booking, plus Private Tours, Bespoke Groups, cruises outside Europe, Russian Odyssey cruises and flight upgrades are excluded. For amendments and cancellations within 44 days of departure, normal cancellation charges will apply. Seaventure 2021 cruises are excluded.
