This was our 3rd holiday with Riviera, after Bruges and South Africa in 2012. We were not disappointed!
This was an action packed week, masterly led by Diana. Our hotel Vue d’Or was ideally situated high above the Bay of Naples. The staff was most accommodating and friendly and the restaurant served local specialities, particularly delicious pasta dishes.
The daily trips were tailored to everyone’s wishes and capabilities. The best for us, probably due to the superb weather, was the visit to Capri, and its enchanting boat trip round the island.
We also thoroughly enjoyed the company of our fellow travellers.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Cristallo Hotel on Lake Garda. The hotel was immaculately clean and in a perfect spot for visiting nearby towns. The food in the hotel, although perhaps not up to everyone’s taste, was certainly decent with good choices. The staff were very helpful and polite. Our Tour Manager, Wendy, was exceptional. SHE WAS ALWAYS THERE FOR YOU WITH A RADIANT SMILE AND HELPFUL ATTITUDE - A BRILLIANT YOUNG LADY.
I would certainly recommend this hotel and tour to anybody. Worth every penny.
Our second trip with Riviera and our second success with Riviera. This one was to celebrate a ‘significant’ birthday for my wife. I don’t think we could have made a better choice. The Ibis hotel in Montparnasse was fine with very helpful staff. Our tour manager, Suzan was a wealth of knowledge, both about the scheduled trips and just about anything else she was asked. The Eurostar experience added to the enjoyment and even here, Suzan was passing up and down the carriage ensuring everyone was all right. So thank you again, your organisation is first class, from the initial booking, paperwork and the sheer professionalism of your tour manager in making the whole trip so enjoyable.
This was our second Riviera Travel holiday and it was as stunning and so well organised as the first. Our tour manager, Jean, was so knowledgeable and patient, and we were with a most pleasant group of people. The staff at hotel Villa Maria were very helpful, and nothing was too much trouble.
We were looking for sometime to find a place to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary, our friends found your advertisement in The Sunday Times. Brilliant choice. Both hotels were very nice and the food excellent. Itinerary - the tours were amazing, we felt we saw the best of the island. Our tour guide Aideen was brilliant, from the moment she greeted us all at the airport until we were back to the airport her enthusiasm for us all to have a great holiday never waned - a shining light for your company.!!!!

This tour was wonderful and the highest of compliments to our main guide for the tour, Valerie. She was efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and injected humour into everything. She helped the group gel together and was a complete treasure.
The two independent guides, Elisabetta and Anthonella, were also fantastic. Both were very knowledgeable and personable. They really brought their respective subjects to life.
The hotel was well situated and the staff there could not do enough to help. It was clean and the breakfasts were marvellous.

This was my second vacation with Riviera Travel and my first city break. As before, the organisation of the trip, the documentation, the flights, the hotel, the excursions and the general itinerary was superb. Our tour manager Annette discretely made sure everything went smoothly. From the moment we met, Annette made us all feel most welcome. At all times she kept us fully informed on what was to happen. Her commentaries on our excursions were most informative and brought the city to life in a way that would not have happened were I travelling alone. Berlin is a lovely city with plenty to do and see. It is still emerging from its recent history but the pace of development is remarkable. The weekend visit could only be a taster but it has triggered the desire to return and spend more time exploring all there is to do and see.
Just come back from a most enjoyable trip with wonderful excursions to Capri and the Amalfi coast. The Grand Hotel Aminta was excellent and our tour guide, Jenny, was brilliant. Her knowledge of the area and her insight into Italian life helped to make our holiday most interesting as well as most enjoyable.
We have just returned from holiday in Classical Spain and had a wonderful time. Everything was so well organised and we loved the free time so that we could go at our own pace with all the information provided. A very big thanks to Clare. She always went the extra mile to help us all. Made you feel that you were the only one in the group - giving individual attention - and very informative. Everyday was so relaxing and jolly and that was down to our star guide. That was our first trip with Riviera and we highly recommend it. Many thanks.
